 You can upload files in PDF format. Such files can be multipage and contain bitmapped or vector graphics. PDF files should be prepared in the following way:
- Colour mode of embedded bitmapped images can be RGB
- Colour depth of 8 bits per channel
After a PDF file has been uploaded, the server converts each page automatically into a separate TIFF file of 300 dpi resolution, which is further processed in TIFF mode.
If the name of the uploaded file contains illegal characters (for example, Russian letters), the server will rename the file automatically after the upload has been completed. In cases where file names coincide, the most recently uploaded one will be given a new name (old name + suffix). Completely identical files (in name or content) are recognized and so duplicates in the client's directory will not be created.
After the file has been uploaded and processed successfully, it is available for ordering. The image shows the result of automated conversion in the preview mode.
