The Nikon CoolScan 9000 enables users to scan individual frames of the following films:

• 135 films
• 120 films
• colour films, black and white films
• negative films, transparency films (slides)

The Nikon CoolScan 5000 is characterized by high-grade optics and a low-temperature light emitting diode (LED), which increase the stability of colour characteristics. Moreover, the LED cannot damage a film as sometimes happens with lamps with a filament.

Main characteristics of the scanner:

• The density range is 4.8 D
• The optical resolution is up to 4,000 dpi

Scanning of Individual Frames

All prices are in roubles and taxes are included.

We can turn the Digital Ice (TM) 4 dust/ scratch removal process on or off when scanning individual frames, at a customer's request. The use of the Digital Ice function does not affect the price for scanning. (not available for black and white films).

Technical retouching includes cropping, colour correction, dust removal, and the correcting of other defects, which can arise when films are scanned. It does not include the removal of any defects, which the originals possess. Scans before retouching are the raw material of the scanning process for further manual adjustments and flaws in the raw material can remain.

Files types are TIFF, JPEG. Color space is sRGB. Colour depth is 8 or 16 bits per channel (at the customer's request).

The individual frame scan prices do not include the CD and writing the files to the CD.
