Canvas prints are among the most popular and, at the same time, affordable interior decorations. For canvas printing, we use durable water-resistant material with a canvas-like surface. It surpasses real canvas in quality and wear-resistance while looking completely identical.
We make colour and black-and-white high-quality canvas prints in any formats, from 20cm x 30cm to 150cm x 400cm, using large format printers EPSON Stylus Pro 11880 and EPSON Stylus Pro 7990.
Canvas stretching
Recreating images on canvases is just the first step in making canvas prints. In the next step, we stretch the canvas print onto a wooden frame, as a rule 2cm deep. This gives the image a more three-dimensional look. When mounted onto a frame, the print is ready for use as an interior decoration. Frame-stretched canvas prints are design features in their own right.
Frame types
Frames are available in two types - 4cm deep and 6cm deep - depending on the size of canvas prints. The bigger the print, the deeper the frame. Extra large format prints are stretched onto frames with supporting wooden cross beams. This prevents canvases from ending up loose over a long period of time.
Canvas varnishing
Canvas prints are recommended to be varnished for added protection against damp penetration and fading. This also protects prints from minor abrasions and prolongs their life. Varnishing makes prints look brighter and boosts their colour contrast.
